Refund Policy

At Data Jewels, we aim to provide high-quality products and digital services to our customers. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully before placing an order.


1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to:

  • Digital products (such as data files, design files, downloads, or online content), and

  • Physical products (lab-grown diamonds, jewellery and related items),
    purchased directly from the Data Jewels website.


2. Digital Products & Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products:

  • All sales of digital files, data packages, design files, and instant downloads are final and non-refundable.

  • Once access is granted, the download link is delivered, or files are shared, no refund, cancellation, or exchange will be provided.

  • We do not accept refunds for:

    • Change of mind

    • Incompatibility with your software or system

    • Lack of technical knowledge to use the files

If you are unable to access your files due to a technical issue caused by us, we will assist you with re-delivery or access support.


3. Lab-Grown Diamonds & Jewellery Orders

3.1 Made-to-Order and Custom Jewellery

Most of our jewellery and certified diamond orders are prepared specifically for each customer.

For the following orders, refunds and cancellations are not allowed:

  • Customised jewellery

  • Made-to-order designs

  • Engraved items

  • Special size or setting requests

  • Diamonds sourced specifically on customer confirmation


3.2 Cancellation Before Processing

An order may be cancelled only before production or sourcing begins.

Once manufacturing, sourcing, certification arrangement, or setting work has started, the order cannot be cancelled.


4. Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive a product that is:

  • Damaged in transit

  • Incorrect compared to your order

  • Missing items in the shipment

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by email with:

  • Clear unboxing video and photographs

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

After verification, we may offer one of the following, at our discretion:

  • Replacement, or

  • Store credit, or

  • Refund (only in genuine verified cases)


5. Return Conditions (If Approved)

If a return is approved:

  • The product must be unused and in original condition

  • Original packaging, certificates and invoices must be included

  • The item must be shipped back using a traceable courier

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the error is confirmed to be from our side.


6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method only.

Refund processing time:

  • 7 to 10 business days after inspection and approval

  • Bank or payment gateway processing time may vary


7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Digital products once delivered or accessed

  • Custom or made-to-order jewellery and diamonds

  • Delay caused by courier or customs

  • Slight variations in colour, weight, or appearance due to photography, lighting, or manufacturing tolerance

  • Customer’s failure to provide correct delivery details


8. Shipping, Customs and Duties

Any customs duties, taxes, or import charges applicable in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.


9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We request customers to contact Data Jewels before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback.
Unnecessary chargebacks may result in permanent account restriction.
